Lemony Chicken Wings Recipe

I learned much later (when I was good and hungry) that weddings start late, like 9 or 10 pm, food is served between 2 and 3 am and the costume changes and ceremony go well into the morning, say 4 or 5 am. Oh, how I wish I had eaten more at lunch!
Khadija made these awesome chicken wings.

chicken wings
oil
onion
ground ginger
garlic
ground pepper
ground saffron or orange colorant
fresh dill
potatoes
parsley
olives
preserved lemon
Lightly fry the chicken wings in oil until browned. Add the onions and spices. Cook until onions are translucent. Add peeled potatoes and enough water to cover the potatoes and wings. Simmer until the potatoes are fork-tender. Add sliced, preserved lemon, fresh parsley and olives. Cook another 10 minutes. Serve hot — with napkins!
